A member of the staff of the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students is on call 24 hours-a-day and seven days-a-week during both academic semesters and the summer months. The on-call system ensures that, in the event of an emergency that involves undergraduate students, the Department of Public Safety (and, occasionally, other colleagues) can reach a university administrator who can assist in managing a crisis situation.
