Claire Pinciaro '13 Named Yeh Director of Student Life

Claire Pinciaro '13 has been named the inaugural director of student life in Yeh College.

Prior to her return to Princeton, Claire served as a Community Development Coordinator in the Office of Residential Life and as Interim Community Standards Coordinator at Amherst College. In this role, she worked closely with colleagues in counseling and health services to support the health and well-being of first-year students. She oversaw student residential staff, was part of the emergency on-call rotation, and supported community-building programming.  Additionally, Claire met with students to resolve conduct issues and provided administrative support for the community standards system more broadly.

Claire began her career in higher education as an admission officer in Princeton’s Admission Office, recruiting applicants, promoting Princeton’s affordability, reviewing applications, and coordinating the logistics of Princeton Preview.  Following this role, Claire served as the Leadership Program Coordinator in ODUS, designing and facilitating an array of leadership development workshops, trainings and retreats and serving as adviser to the first-year class government.

Claire earned her A.B from Princeton and an Ed.M. in Higher Education from Harvard.  While at Harvard, Claire served as a coordinator for the Administrative Board in the Office of Academic Integrity and Student Conduct. As an undergraduate at Princeton, Claire was a Sociology concentrator and a goalkeeper on the Women’s Soccer Team.  As a senior, she was an All-Ivy selection following the team’s undefeated Ivy League season.
