Sponsored by ODUS and the USG Social Committee, Lawnparties is a bi-annual tradition that takes place after the first week of classes in the fall and after classes end in the spring semester. This fall, Lawnparties was held on Sunday, September 8th at the Frist North Lawn. Daya, opened the show with some of her largest hits and NLE Choppa headlined the concert, ending around 4:50 pm. 

Dining Halls opened at 9:00 am and wristbanding began at 10:00 am at McCosh Courtyard. ODUS staff wristbanded 4,404 individuals (4,099 undergraduates, 282 guests, and 23 graduate students) throughout the day while ODUS and the USG Social Committee distributed 8,450 servings of food and provided 186 gots of water and lemonade. 

In addition to Tico's Bagels, cups of watermelon, Nomad Pizza, Rita's Water Ice and Ice Cream, Maddalena's Cheesecake on a Stick, Domino's Pizza, and Nick's Corndogs and Funnel Cake, we were able to bring to campus Wandering Que, which was Kosher Texas Roadside Smokehouse BBQ!

The next lawnparties will be hosted in Spring 2025, towards the end of the spring semester.
