Join Student Groups and Activities!

Students line up outside of Richardson Auditorium

Student-initiated activities are central to Princeton’s co-curricular experience.  While several departments across Campus Life sponsor organizations, the majority of groups are advised by the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS). ODUS groups allow students to pursue interests spanning from the performing arts to political engagement, and everything in between.  During New Student Orientation ODUS co-sponsors a series of programs that showcase a variety of groups and interests.

These programs include:

Tiger Night (September 4th) - Theatre, dance, and other performance groups give the Class of 2026 an introduction to student performing arts at Princeton.

Tiger’s Roar (September 5th) - New students can sample the full range of a cappella groups on campus as they showcase their talents to new students.

Political Activity Fair (September 8) -  Over 30 of Pricneton’s political, debate, and civic engagement groups will be ready to welcome interested students.  The event is sponsored and hosted by the American Whig-Cliosophic Society, the oldest collegiate debate and political union in the United States.

Activities Fair (September 9) - Learn about Princeton's 500+ student organizations at the Fall 2022 Activities Fair, located in Dillon Gym. A full list of registered organizations can be found within the student organization directory (login required).
