Melanie Ibarra named Program Coordinator

Melanie Ibarra has been named the new Program Coordinator in the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS). Melanie will play an essential role in advising undergraduate student organizations and assisting in the daily management of student-initiated events at Princeton. Serving as a bridge between student leaders and University offices, she will support events and compliance with University policy, and will be involved in governance related to student organizations. Melanie will work closely with student-run organizations, Undergraduate Student Government (USG) committees, Class Governments, and colleagues across the University to enhance and sustain programs that enrich the learning, sense of belonging, and extracurricular experiences of Princeton students.

Melanie holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Rowan University. Prior to joining Princeton University, Melanie supported and advised interfaith student organizations in the Office of Social Justice, Inclusion, and Conflict Resolution at Rowan University. 

When she's not working, Melanie enjoys spending time outdoors, and finding new hiking trails to tackle with her partner and dog.
