Mitchel Charles ’18 has been named the new Program Coordinator in the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS). Mitchel will play an essential role in advising undergraduate student organizations and assisting in the daily management of student-initiated events at Princeton. Serving as a bridge between student leaders and University offices, he will support events and compliance with University policy and will be involved in governance related to student organizations. Mitchel will work closely with student-run organizations and committees, the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate, the four Class Governments, and colleagues across the University to enhance and sustain programs that enrich the learning and extracurricular experiences of Princeton students.
Mitchel graduated from Princeton in 2018 with an A.B. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He spent the past two years working in donor engagement and fundraising at the National Audubon Society. During his time at Princeton, he was a member of the Track and Field team and Cannon Club and could often be found at West Windsor Fields, simultaneously training and bird watching. When he's not working, Mitchel is usually in the kitchen, cooking or baking up a storm.
