Theatre Intime invites you to participate in an anti-racist casting workshop on Monday, March 20 from 4:30-6 pm in Intime’s Charrier Room, led by Victor Vazquez from X Casting! Victor is a professional casting director who founded X Casting, a NYC/LA/London based anti-racist casting agency. During this workshop, participants will learn how lead and participate in both an audition and rehearsal room with anti-racism in mind. We encourage all student directors, stage managers, actors, designers, and theater makers to attend. Please RSVP here to confirm attendance.

This student-initiated program is aligned with ongoing ODUS Arts EDI efforts.  Since fall of 2020, ODUS Arts has continued continued to offer and expanding intentionally focused DEI programming. Most recently, ODUS collaborated with Natives at Princeton and McCarter Theatre to sponsor a viewing of Between Two Knees by The 1491s, hosting a reception with the cast and production crew to hold conversations with interesting perspectives and ideas.  Additionally, Tigers in Trenton, a performing arts showcase for Trenton Central High School (TCHS) was revitalized this year, strengthening ODUS Arts’ collaboration in their outreach work with TCHS, and Trenton Arts at Princeton program manager Lou Chen '19.
