Princeton Tonight and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students Present

Melissa Villaseñor and Alex Moffat of Saturday Night Live

A Celebration of Comedy in Memory of Jacob Kaplan ‘18

Saturday Night Live cast members Melissa Villaseñor and Alex Moffat will hold a conversation with SNL writer and comedian Anna Drezen, followed by questions from the audience, at Princeton University’s McCosh Hall 50 on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:30pm. This event is free and open to the general public. Seating will begin at 7:00PM and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

It will be a night of laughs and lively discussion in memory of Jacob Kaplan, a member of the Princeton University Class of 2018 who passed away last year from a rare form of cancer known as angiosarcoma. He was known among friends, family, faculty, and staff as a lover of all things comedy.

Lineup:

Melissa Villaseñor broke barriers by becoming the first-ever Latina cast member of Saturday Night Live. A comedic impressions expert, she got her start as a semifinalist on “America’s Got Talent,” and is known on SNL for her impressions of such celebrities as Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Forbes Magazine named Villaseñor one of their 30 Under 30 in 2017.

She is the editor-at-large of Reductress, a satirical women’s magazine and is the coauthor of Reductress’ debut humor book, How to Win at Feminism.
