The Department of Athletics, The Office of the Dean of Undergraduates, and McCarter Theater are thrilled to collaborate on a special performance of the acclaimed play The Wolves, with a discussion following the show and concluding with a food truck party on Tuesday, September 20th, starting at 7:30PM in McCarter’s Berlind Theater. Please join us! These tickets are free, and do not count as a use of your “Passport to the Arts” allowance.

The Wolves, a play by Sarah DeLappe, was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The professional production at McCarter is directed by Sarah Rasmussen. The Wolves follows nine young women from a competitive high school soccer team. You can watch the trailer here and learn more about the cast. (Fun Fact: the cast has been observing Princeton’s women’s soccer practice for research!)

Tickets are available to reserve here. You may only reserve one ticket. Tickets are free of charge for all Princeton undergraduates. RSVP is required.

Following the show, director Sarah Rasmussen will be in conversation with Sabrina King '01, head coach of women’s volleyball and Heather Driscoll, the soccer consultant for The Wolves.  Dean Claire Pinciaro '13 who was a goalie on the Princeton women’s soccer team, will provide welcoming remarks to frame the discussion. We will also take questions from the audience.

Audience members will be invited to attend a food truck afterparty on the lawn outside of the theater immediately following the talk-back. Our hope is that this will provide an opportunity for student-athletes to meet others across teams and continue the conversation about their thoughts on the performance and discussion. The Wolves cast will be invited to join the party.
