Demyan is the Trips Coordinator for Outdoor Action, where he works to recruit, develop, and mentor student leaders through the Outdoor Action Leader Training Program and implement adventure-based programs during the academic year. His role emphasizes collaboration with campus and community partners to support student leadership and education as well as the coordination of Princeton’s large, multisite first-year orientation program. Demyan also manages Outdoor Action’s equipment room and rental program. Prior to arriving at Princeton, Demyan held several positions for REI Co-op where his work included outdoor education, environmental advocacy, community engagement, and corporate philanthropy. Demyan is an Eagle Scout and received his BA from the University of Michigan and MPA from Villanova University. When he is not at work, Demyan can be found on the trail with his family and canine Signora Truffles.
