
Demyan works to recruit, develop, and mentor student leaders through the Outdoor Action (OA) Leader Training Program and manage the OA+ Program, OA’s adventure and service-oriented trips during the academic year. His role emphasizes collaboration with campus and community partners to support student leadership and the coordination of the OA Orientation program. Demyan also manages OA’s rental program and equipment room.
Demyan received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and MPA from Villanova University. Prior to arriving at Princeton, he held several positions for REI Co-op where he worked in corporate philanthropy, environmental advocacy, and outdoor education.
When he is not at work, Demyan volunteers with Ukrainian cultural organizations and local environmental nonprofits. For fun, he enjoys running ultramarathons and spending time on the trail with his family and canine, Signora Truffles.
