Retreats

Over the course of the academic year, undergraduate students have the ability to create space for conversation off campus and without the pressures of every day tasks surrounding them. During the Wintersession period, ODUS assists with the creation of these spaces, by offering students to briefly leave campus behind for a few nights, meet others that they may not be familiar, and most importantly, have conversations around challenges, successes, and self-reflection; all of which aid in their overall well-being.

Below you will find two ODUS sponsored retreats; the Annual Wellness Retreat, which follows the Wellness Brunch held in the Fall, and the Walter E. Hope 1901 Halftime Retreat, open annually to all sophomore students.

Walter E. Hope 1901 Halftime Retreat

The Walter E. Hope 1901 Halftime Retreat is an opportunity for sophomores to form deeper connections with their classmates and to reflect upon their Princeton experience thus far. Guided workshops help students reflect upon their experiences, interests, and the future. Students are able to enjoy conversations with each other about making decisions, setting goals, and balancing priorities. Our goal is to help students create deeper connections with other sophomores and develop a clearer understanding of self.
